Good: – You know you’re a redneck when you just assume “DG” stands for Dollar General. I was talking to a friend about getting our families together when she told me they couldn’t do Tuesdays, because her husband goes to DG that night. I was like, “You need to come up with a better excuse than your […]

Jeanne Clifton - Two things – I totally understand about the AC Filters – when Steven and I first married, the place we lived had filters that were 12X20X1. The only way he could remember was that my birthday is 12/20 – OR the only way he could remember my birthday is it was the size of our Filters. Either way works! They are a different size now so neither one of us can remember. Also, Thomas and Tori love The Ugly Cupcake Muffinry place. There is a Groupon right now for Monday through Friday here: https://www.groupon.com/deals/the-ugly-cupcake-muffinry-cafeReplyCancel

Lyndsay - Ha!! I’m SURE it was your birthday that helped him remember the filter. :) And thank you so much for the Groupon! That’s such a good deal.ReplyCancel

Good: I was on my way to pick up Kingston from his class after our church service Sunday when one of the kids’ area serve staff members stopped me. She’s one of my favorites, so I gave her a hug! Then she told me that Kingston prayed during their large group time. I smiled, because […]

Melissa Hollister - Lol! I am so with you on the “how did the baby get in there?” talk. I need a how to book or something. My nephew was born a couple weeks ago (in Florida!) and Maddox (7yrs) asked if my SIL just coughed really hard then started to throw up and TA DA the baby came out. I looked at him like he just cursed 1,000 times and then said, “Not really. I have to ask your dad something. Be right back.” I left him in the room by himself to ponder what an idiot his mom is. Not good….. #momfail #motheroftheyearReplyCancel

Good: – Anderson and I celebrated our 8th anniversary this week! Every time I talked about our relationship, I seem to mention grace. It’s because I can’t get over how good God has been to us. We’re so undeserving! Not-So-Good: – Kingston’s preschool teacher posted some pictures on FB of her newborn grandson, so I […]

Milton Almeida - I love everything you post, especially your conversations with Kingston! He is so logical and so inquisitive! I love talking to him and I remember last time we were together and I told them that I couldn’t see my dreams because I sleep with my eyes closed and he went on to explain to me, rather patiently, that I should not worry since dreams “are in your brains, grandpa” so, you don’t have to keep your eyes open… That was one of the precious moments of my life’s history. Oh, yes! All babies look alike, I agree with him and often say that newborn babies look like a knee with eyes…
Tell Anderson not to forget to teach Kingston play soccer as I taught Anderson and that is just by repeating incessantly: “You play with your head; you only use your feet.”
I loved the pictures! I love you!

Alicia Knopps - First, Happy Anniversary!!!! Second, I love – love – LOVE my Rav4!!! I recently purchased a 2015 after my beloved 2003 Rav4 rolled into the dealership where it took it's final breath. *sigh* I was really sad to let my 2003 go because it fit my needs perfectly and was just starting to get that old car smell. Am I the only one who fancies that smell? Anywho, it didn't take me long to fall as equally in love with my new 2015 Rav4. I could write a whole post on how much I love my car and why, however, I won't – that would be weird. BUT oh those dual side air controls….my husband no longer has to wear a sweater in the car when he rides with me and I quit giving him the evil eye everytime he would turn the AC up or off. :) And lastly, boogers…the struggle is real!ReplyCancel

Lyndsay Hyatt- Almeida - Thank you! I seriously love hearing that you are all about your RAV4… so much that you bought it again. That's true love! And it's good to know you like the new one too! :) We're the same way with the AC. Maybe we should invent Dual side air controls for our house too!ReplyCancel
