I love this family, so when they said they wanted to do a lifestyle family shoot at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, I could not wait!
We met up the night before at our resort and got a game plan together, then the next morning hit the park bright and early-ish and shot at some of their favorite spots. Mike and Angie are seriously Disney experts. They kept telling us “insider info” and we kept saying things like, “Really? We had no idea!” I knew we were newbies to the whole Disney experience, but not anymore, people! After a weekend with the Ricks crew we know our way around, so watch out!
They have three of the sweetest kids I’ve ever met. We could not believe how kind and considerate they were. Not only did they bring us all home-made gifts, but they were also so patient with Kingston. He loved them! After the shoot we split up and did our own thing for a while. (That included a nap for my crew). Then later that evening, they took us to a yummy dinner and a show. We laughed a lot and told Anderson some fun stories from our high school adventures. (I’ve known Mike and Angie forever!) The kids were so good – Anderson’s magic tricks at dinner helped. 🙂 Kingston loved the Ricks kids. In fact, when I asked him a few days later what his favorite part of Disney was, he said, “Playing with MY kids!” And honestly, I think that was the best part for all of us. We went to Orlando for a photoshoot and a little Disney fun, and we left feeling refreshed and encouraged by an incredible family!
