I just spent a few days in Manhattan Beach with one of my favorite people, and the whole thing felt like such a gift! Morning light on the palm trees, afternoon walks along The Strand, that hazy golden-hour glow that California does better than anywhere else…
It was technically a work trip but looked more like brainstorming between beach walks, project planning over delicious food, and turning every errand into an adventure (because that’s what my friend Heather does best). 🙂 A few of the highlights were:
- A tour of LA and Beverly Hills
- Lunch from The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills
- An afternoon at Hotel Bel-Air
- Walking The Strand in Manhattan Beach as much as possible
- Finding treasure at a Goodwill then going immediately to an Erewhon market – major retail whiplash!
It felt like living in a Beach Boys song for a few days, and I’m so grateful!
