September in Cell Phone Pics

It’s been dark, rainy, and dreary around here lately. But! These gorgeous flowers are keeping our house bright and cheery!
Thanks ProFlowers for the bouquet of sunshine! You can order your own for a discount here.

My friend Jen and I  got a little preview of the brand new Watts Juicery last week! So excited that it’s now open in Jax Beach.
PS-Moms, your kids will love this stuff! Gotta sneak those fruits and veggies in.

Left: Hot town, summer in the city!
Right: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up… and when you’re shopping! 🙂

sept12

Beach days are here to stay!

sept10

I slowly redid our dining room this summer, but it’s not finished… still figuring out the flooring situation.

sept13

Left: At our favorite niece’s 16th birthday party!
Right: Breakfast date with my little guy who NEEDED a waffle.

sept15

Plane rides.

Left:
Anderson leaves notes for me everywhere. He started it when we were dating. 🙂
Right: Kingston said he wanted to do “noffing,” so I suggested he nap. He said he’d rather just drink coffee to wake up, like me. Yikes!

sept6

Left: We send Anderson a lot of pictures like this with the same caption, “Thank you for working hard, so we can play hard!”
Right: My name is rarely spelled right on anything, but this is a new one! 10 points for creativity!

sept9

Left:
Celebrating my friend Brooke’s birthday with a much needed girls’ lunch!
Right: How gorgeous is this spot?! I got to do a photoshoot here with the cutest couple while they were on their baby-moon.

sept8

I’ve been reading a lot lately. I don’t really “have time” for it, but it’s amazing what you can fit in here and there!

DATE NIGHT!
So many women who I really respect have given me the same advice over the years:
Make your husband a priority. Go on dates as often as you can. Plan trips for just the two of you.
So we’re stepping it up and trying to do a weekly date night! It’s a little ambitious and might not happen every single week,
but if we make it a priority, it just might! I love dating you, Mr. Almeida.

Left:
Another beach day!
Right: The night Anderson took Kingston for a bike ride, and it started pouring. So I had to go rescue them. 🙂

sept5
VPK is kicking our butts, so we’re just trying to take it in stride. Every day gets a little better. Thanks for praying, Grandma and Grandpa!!

sept7

Shopping with Kingston: “Mom, those pants look too boyish ok?”

sept1

Went shopping with my friend Jen (She’s my partner in crime for all-things-local) at the Palms Market in Atlantic Beach.
We both got the prettiest necklaces from Couture Jems!

sept14
Lunch with Grandma and Grandpa!

sept17

Left: Thrifted goodies.
Right: Play date!
