And in completely non-clothing related news: Last night I was having dinner with some girlfriends I haven’t seen in way too long at TacoLu (a favorite Jax Beach restaurant) when this guy walked in. We were in the middle of a really serious conversation when one of the girls said something like, “Sorry to interrupt but WHO IS THAT?” She’s single, so I was expecting to turn around and see a cute guy behind us. Nope. Well, I mean he’s cute enough, but a little old for Amanda. 😉 I asked if we could have our picture taken with him, and he reluctantly agreed. Poor guy. We were probably the 75th people to ask in ten minutes. So I didn’t push things and tell him all about how I wore a sweatshirt with his picture on it when I was in 5th grade. Or about how one time I was wearing the shirt and looking in the bathroom mirror and freaked out because the number on it said “31” instead of “13.” I thought the number had magically switched itself until my dad, through horrified laughter, told me it was backwards because I was looking in a mirror. I so wanted to tell Dan Marino that story (because I always think of it when I see him on tv) but I just didn’t get the feeling he was in the mood for childhood stories. Maybe next time!

You are too funny. Love that story!! I always over share when it comes to celebrities. A was at a restaurant Monday and the owner (who I just met) told me that Ricky Rubio (a MN basketball player) is always eating at his restaurant to which I replied “I want to MARRY Ricky!”. Like I knew him or something. Pretty sure he thinks I’m crazy. 🙂
