Two words sum up how I get projects done around the house: NAP TIME.
Yesterday while the King was sleeping I did two simple projects that you might want to try this weekend!

I gathered some bottles that I just happened to have around the kitchen. Note here that being a collector/hoarder totally pays off sometimes. Okay?!? Then I grabbed a can of my absolute favorite spray paint in “Blue Ocean Breeze” and sprayed two thin layers on the bottles. That’s it!


Then I gave an old stool a little makeover by “paint dipping” the legs. I taped the legs off with painter’s tape (just eyed it) and covered the bottom with two coats of acrylic paint. I didn’t seal it at all, but Kingston keeps telling his cars, “Don’t bump the stool. Mommy painted that.” So maybe they’ll stay that way? 🙂
