One of my constant prayers for this little guy is that he will grow in “wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52 says this about Jesus when he was a boy, so I figure if it’s good enough for Jesus… 😉 But I have to admit there’s a part of me that doesn’t want him to become too wise, too quickly. I kind of love that he thinks he can be a black Lamborghini when he grows up!

PS-He looks SO BIG compared to his first day last year!

  1. Hah hah! He is as powerful as a Lamborghini now, at almost 5!
    He is such an adorable and intelligent boy that it amazes me! Of course you, Lyndsay, and Anderson were there, but so everyone would have a hint of how intelligent and communicative he is: I was trying to joke with him that I sleep with my eyes open so I can see in my dreams. He then correct me vehemently and emphatically stating that I was wrong because: You don’t have to worry… you can close your eyes because dreams (as he said pointing the two index fingers to his head) are IN YOUR BRAINS! They’re not really happening, but they are in your brains!!!!
    I proudly thought: “uh oh… grandpa has to wise up if he wants to joke with this kid… He is smarter than most 4 or 5 year old boys!
    Perhaps in his inner being, if we can compare brains with today’s technology, Kingston is a Lamborghini of a boy!!!! You cannot get any better!!!!
