Mark 5:41

When we first found out about my brain tumor a few years ago, there were more questions than answers, and on some days, more fear than faith.

God’s Word was my sole source of strength, (that’s actually true every day- sometimes I’m just more aware of it!) and as I searched for life-giving truth, I found myself reading over and over again Mark’s account of a miracle where Jesus brought a dead girl back to life.

So I did what every good 21st century Christian does when a particular scripture is impactful to them. I had it tattooed on my arm. 🙂 The words serve as a constant reminder that God is able!

But they’ve also given me many opportunities to tell people about what he’s done in my life. Every time someone says, “What does your tattoo mean?” or “Who is Talitha?” (ha!) I get to share with them about his goodness and his faithfulness!
