I’ve been slacking on my monthly cell phone pic round-ups. Because, well… laziness. 🙂
But I miss looking at them. There’s something about seeing the ordinary, small moments that makes me a little more thankful for each day.
So if only for me, I’m starting these again!
Left: We randomly ran into one of Kingston’s cute little friends at the beach.
Right: Me and my shadow.
Left: Has anyone else read this yet? So good! It’s about what God really calls us to as believers – not happy, flowery lives we sometimes expect.
Right: Celebrated “Sweet 16” with the sweetest girl – pics from her party coming soon!
Both: A rough day at the spa.
Both: 8th Annual Spa Day with these girls. We started this tradition when we were all 12-yrs-old. 😉
Left: Band practice.
Right: Wedding crashers.
Both: Is this considered child abuse? I was scared that if I let him out of the cart I’d lose him in that sea of khaki pants!
Left: I made this cheesy stuffed raccoon when he was a baby. Now he likes it. He named it Randy Raccoon.
Right: Another day. Another park.
Left: His cars go everywhere with us. And they all have names. Pictured here – “Volvo” and “Walgreens.”
Right: That hat kinda goes everywhere too!
Left: H&M with my shopping partner. We had the best day!
Right: “In spite of everything, God would love his children with a never stopping, never giving up, unbreaking, always and forever love.”
I love reading the Jesus Storybook Bible to Kingston while he eats breakfast! Pretty sure I get more out of it than him. 🙂
Left: “Mom, we’re out of money!”
Right: My first attempt at coconut curry.
Left: My car was at the dealership, and they gave us a loaded 5-series for a loaner.
So I accidentally gave them the wrong number to call when mine was ready. 😉 #fakerichpeople
Right: So glad this guy loves a picnic as much as me. (Any time we sit outside on a blanket it’s a “picnic.”)
Left: That would be my friend JoJo pushing three kids in swings at the same time. Yeah-she’s a pro!
Right: Three happy Almeidas at the bookstore.
Left: Trying to do the 80/20 “clean eating” thing. I’m the only one in our house who’s totally on board. Look at him guarding his donut. Poor kid.
He thinks I’m gonna take 80% of it. 🙂
Right: I’m painting the couch that sat in my Grandma’s “parlor” forever! Now it lives in our bedroom. Trying to decide what color trim to use.
(The wood will be a mustard yellow and the velvet is blue.) I’m thinking pink, teal, coral??
Left: Thankful for my partner.
Right: I seriously wear these shoes every other day. Need to work another pair into the rotation!
Left: He can get in and out of his car seat all by himself. I like it/hate it.
Right: You saw it here first. These fabulous hospital wrap gowns will be all the rage this fall. #stealonewhileyoucan
