DIY Pom Pom Clutch

Have I ever mentioned that I love pom poms? haha!

Yeah, yeah – I know. Broken record! I probably need a support group. But until we get to that point I’m going to share yet another quick, easy pom pom DIY! I found this cute little houndstooth clutch at Hobby Lobby for $3.99 (before my 40% off coupon). Basically, it was a steal! Had to get it. Then I remembered that I had some trim pieces that would be the perfect embellishment. Here’s how I made this DIY pom pom clutch:

  1. Measured and cut 2 pieces of pom pom trim and laid them down the front of the clutch.
  2. Spaced them out to fit just under the ribbon I had picked out and hot glued each pom pom strip down.
  3. To finish it up, I glued the ribbon on top of the pom pom strips, so that only the pom poms were showing and then folded over the edges (top and bottom) and glued them down.

The whole project only took about 5 minutes!

Want more DIY pom pom projects? I thought so! Here’s a blazer, straw hat, beach bag, and J Crew t-shirt. Enjoy! 🙂
