Our church has an annual event called “Christmas at the Farm” for families with kids (or not I guess!) and we decided to join the masses for the first time this year. After hearing about pony rides, a petting zoo, roasted hotdogs, s’mores, and a hayride DRIVEN BY SANTA I was sure Kingston would love it! And he did enjoy himself. Just not like I expected. Basically he wanted to run around a baseball field all afternoon where some bigger kids were playing kickball. That’s it! We did make it onto a hayride and had a few marshmallows though!
PS – I know it’s boring to go on and on about the weather, but jeez was it hot! I might be a native Floridian, but I’ll never get used to sweating at Christmas!
