I love the Ricks family so much!
Mike, Angie, and I have known each other forever, and their crew are some of our favorite people to hang out with. They’re adventurous and fun and always up for a good time. So when Mike called and said he wanted to book a surprise photoshoot for Angie’s 40th birthday, I was in. Then he told me he wanted to do it during their annual family vacation in Tennessee! So I flew up and met them at their gorgeous cabin, and we spent a day doing some of their favorite vacation things – hiking, skipping rocks, looking for the perfect apples to take home, sampling fresh apple pastries, relaxing by the fire and drinking the best hot chocolate (Angie’s secret recipe!) I loved capturing these moments with them and hope they’ll look back at the pictures down the road and smile at all the adventures they had as a family. (And also at the fact that they survived the pre-teen/teenage years!)
PS – I’m not-so-secretly trying to marry Kingston into this family. Wish me luck!
