As Sarah Faith’s parents met her for the first time, the emotions in the room were so thick that they were tangible. Overwhelming joy and immense relief! And in that same hospital room, at the same time, there was also despair and loss. But even in the midst of the sadness, was a glimmer of hope that quickly grew at the realization that Sarah Faith is already loved with the unconditional love of her Mom and Dad. A title they’ve fought for years to proudly wear!
These beautiful, heart wrenching moments are forever ingrained in my mind. And I will always be grateful for those who fight the long, hard fight to bring a child home. And for those who bravely trust someone else to give their baby a beautiful life.
