Kingston still won’t wear a costume for Halloween. I’ve been asking him about it all month and even offered to make a home-made car costume, but no. He wouldn’t buy it. So the night before trunk-or-treat at his school I told him he could just wear some of his regular clothes and be a “rock-star.” He LOVED that idea, and when I got him ready he couldn’t stop smiling! He was pretty cute. Then he found these huge sunglasses in his closet (thanks Grandma!) and the generic rock-star get-up quickly took an Elton John turn. We’re going for a cross between Elton, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Jimi Hendrix. We asked him last night if he wants to put on a concert for the neighborhood while we hand out candy (he likes handing out candy more than trick-or-treating. Go figure!) and he got pretty excited. We’ve been talking about it all day. So, come on by for candy and a show tonight. You’ll hear us before you see us!

Past Halloween shenanigans: 2013, 2012, and 2011. Baby Elvis was my favorite. ๐Ÿ™‚ Rock on, people!
