I love LOVE pencil skirts, but every time I wear one I feel a little too much like a serious business woman wearing half of a power suit. Even if the skirt is neon yellow. 🙂 Same with blazers. That’s why I try to keep the rest of the look really casual. What the heck does that mean? Well, for this look I paired my pencil skirt with a baseball tee and espadrilles. The t-shirt and casual shoes make the pencil skirt feel less “buttoned-up.” I can even chase a toddler around!
