We just had our first corn maze experience. Kingston’s favorite part of the whole day was playing in the giant tubs of corn kernels. My favorite part was when Anderson called it pop corn. He thought it was the same thing! City boy. I don’t know, but the place just wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. Not sure what I was expecting… and maybe it’s because I grew up in a rural area, but the whole “spend a day in the country” thing just didn’t do it for me. And there were huge lines for everything! A really long (Disney-size) line to get in, another one for food (that they ran out of!), and another one that led to a hay ride that drove out to the actual corn maze. What the heck?! It was crazy. The little guy did have a great time, but next time we want to pet some chickens and roll in corn, we’re just going to Uncle Don’s (my brother) house. 🙂

  1. I agree that place isn’t that great. I went for a life group event at night and the best part was the bonfire. Luckily we didn’t have long lines but the “maze” was see through and living in Ohio I have high expectations. It looks like Kingston had a great time though. 🙂

  2. Now I don’t feel so bad about not getting on the list to get into this place that one Friday!(: The one we went to with my family was pretty good and worth a shot (next year if you don’t want to pay again this year). We actually kind of got lost in that corn maze, haha!
