A few months ago my niece, Kelsy, found out that she could graduate from high school a year early! So in the middle of all the other senior stuff she was hurrying to take care of, we decided she HAD to do a senior photo session with her favorite aunt. I’m also her only aunt, but that’s completely irrelevant!

Kelsy, I’m so proud of you and thankful God put you in our crazy family… you fit right in! I pray that everyday you understand more and more that your identity has nothing to do with the family you belong to, or the school you go to, or what you decide to do as a career. Your identity is based on what Jesus says about you. And he says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Pops used to tell me and Don this all the time: “Remember who you are. And remember whose you are.” That means you are loved and valued. And you are a child of the King. So act like it. I love you!!! And I’m kinda hoping you’re going to cosmetology school at some point, because I need help. 🙂
