We got to escape the ordinary, as Hilton Orlando invited us to experience the world’s largest (and tallest!!!) escape room experience! The entire resort has been transformed into an escape room of complex clues, challenges, and augmented reality – so we tested our special agent skills as we solved puzzles using tricky clues! This isn’t your traditional escape room though. Instead of trying to break out of something, we were trying to unlock a huge secret within the resort. Escape At Hilton Orlando is a virtual, interactive experience, and you can enjoy it now through October 31st.

Our mission began as soon as we checked in to Hilton Orlando and were given a case file with a QR code to access the game app on our phones. We loved that Escape is NOT intended to be completed all at once. You complete missions at your own pace, so you can take a break to eat, hang out by the pools, or even go to a theme park!

There are 5 missions that can be completed in any order (on your own time) during your stay, and they will have you roaming all over the property – inside and out as you solve clues and come across a few fun surprises along the way! The anticipated time to complete the entire Escape Room experience is 3 to 4 hours of playtime.

Hilton Orlando is one of our favorite Orlando properties! It’s located right off International Drive, next to the Convention Center, but it’s so big that we felt like we were hidden away from the busyness of Orlando. A winding water slide, 2 pools (one for adults only), lazy river, splash pad, private cabanas, fire pits, and hot tubs mean entertainment is everywhere. And their beds are so comfortable! The number one way I judge a hotel is the beds. If everything else is great, but we don’t sleep well, no bueno. We aren’t going back! Ha! Hilton Orlando definitely passes that test though. 🙂

The customer service at Hilton Orlando is also incredible, so if you ever need an escape from reality we think this is the perfect spot!
