Last week we hosted a “Brazilian” Cinco de Mayo fiesta with some of our favorite people and their crazy kiddos. We really just needed an excuse to get together, and the Brazilian part of the party came in the form of food (Pastels, Romeo & Juliet, and a ton of desserts!), drink (Guarana), music, and the rather large Brazilian flag that found it’s way onto our garage door… greeting everyone with pride. Ha! I think our neighborhood was thoroughly confused. Other than that it was a typical Cinco de Mayo party: fish tacos, mustache tattoos, and a pinata. I’m so thankful for the fun people God has put in our lives. Especially the ones who would rather hang with us and our kids than get wasted at a Mexican restaurant!
